Iron Man Movie ArtFx Statue REVIEW external link

Okay, here's the thing. I've been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Iron Man Movie Artfx Statue since I first saw it in May '08. It was originally scheduled to arrive sometime in November.

When I heard that he hit a delay on his trip from Japan, I was heartbroken, but understood that my patience would pay off. After what seemed like 42 months of waiting, he finally showed.

Does he meet my expectations? Yes. I would liken it to going on a blind date and showing up to find any of the following people staring back at you: Vivica A. Fox, Brad Pitt, Charlize Theron, or a young Paul Newman.

Yeah, he's that good. Paul Newman good.

Kotobukiya and ArtFx are known for the awesome quality of their products, and the Iron Man Movie Artfx Statue just goes to show that they are still at the top of their game. The metallic paint is masterfully applied to the cold-cast porcelain and the sculpt is incredible.

He's 1/6 scale to the Mark III armor seen in the movie, and he even features multiple LEDs in the eyes, Repulsor Ray palms, and a chest uni-beam. The pose is great and you can tell that the film's original promotional one-sheet inspired it.

We don't have many left, and I anticipate us selling out of them this weekend, so come on down and order your Iron Man Movie Artfx Statue today.

While you're here, why not check out other Kotobukiya statues too!? You're bound to find something in there that you'll fall in love with.

Do you have one of these expertly crafted Iron Man ArtFx statues? Been a fan of Kotobukiya for awhile now? Let us know what you think below.
