Based on the comic from renowned animator, Todd McFarlane, Spawn is the tale of a highly decorated U.S. soldier, Al Simmons (voiced by Michael Jai White), who is double-crossed and brutally executed by his boss, Jason Wynn (Martin Sheen). In the underworld, Simmons strikes a deal with the devil's minion, The Clown (John Leguizamo), enabling him to again walk the Earth so he can see his wife, Wanda (Theresa Randle).
